Will Pappas

Campus School second-grader Will Pappas passed away Thursday, June 19. Although he had not been well and his passing was expected, we are all saddened by this loss. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Get Ready for 2008−2009!

While you're having a great time this summer, don't forget that there are a few things you need to do to be ready for the 2008−2009 school year. Your teacher has prepared a list of exciting books to read over the summer, as well as a list of the school supplies you will need. There are even some fun math activities to keep your brain from melting into your Gameboy, DS, or PSP. Check the lists below for the grade you will be entering in the 2008−2009 school year.

Campus School Children Make A New Friend's Wish Come True

Taylor Shaw leads her royal procession, including sixth-grade student escorts Cameron McDonald and Julian Smith and teacher Ernie Shadow, through the halls of the U of M Campus School just before receiving the surprise of a lifetime, courtesy of the children of Campus School. Via the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the students raised $5,000 for Taylor and her family to take a Disney cruise.

The My Life section of the Memphis Commercial Appeal is displaying two galleries of art created by Campus School students to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Black History Month.
