SAC Board Meeting Tuesday, October 16, 2001 1:00 p.m.

Present: Mitzi Lyne, Susan Copeland, Debra Coplon, Angela Fair, Partee Peppers

The meeting was called to order at approximately 1:00 p.m.

Old Business:

· The minutes from the previous meeting held on September 13, 2001 were approved as read.
· A discussion was held regarding the possible arrangement of cable hook up in the classrooms. Mrs. Lyne presented information regarding this project. She reported that the installation cost would be $150 with a $7.50 monthly fee charged by The University of Memphis.
· Fall Fest - Deanna Showli, Chairperson for the Fall Fest/Silent Auction was in need of more community donations.
· It was reported that the Membership Campaign was very successful. Two classes reached 100% participation. Approximately $5,000 was raised.
· School Sign – Per latest feed back from Physical, Plant and Planning, the school sign project would have to go out for bids.


New Business:

· Computers – a Grant was received by the school to purchased computers for the 5th and 6th grade classrooms. A total cost of approximately $17,432 would be needed for the purchase of computers, patch cable, focus enchancers (TV’s), VCR’s and carts for the 1st – 4th grade classrooms and Ms. Larrick’s room
· The Tiger Tracks and Directory are hopefully in process.
