SAC Board Meeting Wednesday, May 1, 2002 2:00 p.m.

Present: Mitzi Lyne, Susan Copeland, Mary Prince, Debra Coplon, Angela Fair, Partee and Deborah Peppers

The meeting was called to order at approximately 2:00 p.m.

Old Business:

· The financial report was presented by Debra Coplon. She highlighted the net profit amounts from several activities including Spring Fling, Skate Night, Holiday Fair and the Book Fair.
· The minutes from the previous meeting held on February 27th, were approved as read.
· Mrs. Lyne and Mrs. Coplon commented on the success of Spring Fling. Ticket sales for food and games were successful.
· Classroom computer purchases – For this school year, SAC has contributed approximately $10,000 for classroom computer purchases.


New Business:

· It was properly motioned and approved to purchase a small copier for the school office. The cost is to be approximately $500 - $600.
· SAC General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 02, 2002 at 6:30 p.m. in the Field House. The meeting will proceed the P.E. Demonstration which is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
· The Teacher Appreciation Luncheon is scheduled for May 03, 2002. Parent Volunteers have been secured to cover each classroom teacher’s lunch period.
· The Parent Appreciation Breakfast is scheduled for May 24, 2002.
