Campus School SAC Board Nov. 4, 2002


The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. in the Campus School Conference Room. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

The agenda was passed out. The following items were discussed:

Treasurer’s Report read.

New business on the agenda:

Review of Bookfair discussed. Presentation made by Lynne McAlexander and Tammy Vanderhook on organization and future planning for Bookfair. Stacy Hicks is the faculty representative for this year’s fair.

Alicia Merritt requested parent participation in Adopt-A-School. The board promised their cooperation and assistance in obtaining adopters.

Card boxes were left for discussion by Cassandra Webster as a possible fund raiser item. Mrs. Larrick will be consulted and approval obtained.

Concern expressed by parents regarding leaking pipe in courtyard. Mrs. Copeland will contact work control today.

Discussion was held on National Board Certification for Teachers. As Campus teachers receive no financial support in this endeavor, SAC will consider contributing to the cost of this endeavor.

Old Business:

Tiger Tracks articles are to submitted by the 13th of each month for publication at the first of the following month.

TVs, VCRs, and carts purchased for 6 classrooms. Carts have been delivered.
