SAC Parents Meeting – September 9, 2004

Introductions: SAC President Mary Honey introduced this year’s SAC board members including Melissa Pearce, vice president and Kimberly Johnson, treasurer. Lee Meyers, SAC secretary, was absent. Mary also introduced event chairs, including newly named chairmen April Harlan, Adopt-A-Book, and Carolyn Stephenson, Spring Fling. Other chairs include:

SAC Membership Drive: Mary announced that a letter would be going home the week of September 13 to encourage all Campus families to join SAC by making a donation. The membership drive will end October 15, but SAC will accept membership donations at any time. Mary also sought suggestions about how SAC should best spend the funds raised to enhance our children’s education. Parents were encouraged to “suit up and show up” for their most precious gift, their children.

Director’s Report: Susan Copeland introduced the teachers and recognized them for all they do on behalf of our children.
